Why not consider hiring a freelance translator to provide you with top-notch translation services? That's a wise choice! But how can we be sure that we make the most out of our collaboration? Take a moment to read my latest blog post, where you'll find valuable and practical advice on how to build a strong working relationship and achieve the best possible results for your translation project. But before we begin...how about a little glimpse of my translation skills? Visit the Work Samples section and take a look at some of the texts I've translated in my three language pairs!
Do you need to have your text, user's manual or medical report translated? Just send them my way, and I'll take a look to analyze content and style and provide you with a quote. You can use the contact form at the Get in Touch section of my website or simply send me an email to info@rickastranslate.com It's as easy as pie!
Feel free to send me your text as a Word or PDF file. No need to worry if you have a different file format: go ahead and send it to me, and I will assess its suitability and workability. This is because some files may be "corrupted" and require conversion to a different format before we can start the translation workflow. In order for me to understand your needs and work to give you the best translation possible, please tell me:
I'm a strong believer in the importance of dialog and cooperation in achieving successful outcomes. This is why I value our relationship as one based on open communication. I will ask you questions to fully grasp your text and understand your requirements. I'm 100% sure that our cooperation will allow us to achieve the best possible results and to ensure mutual satisfaction!
After viewing your project, I will provide you with a quote based on the word count of the source text. Please note that any additional or modified content after the translation is completed will be considered separate, and will require a separate quote. In some cases, I may ask you for a down payment of the agreed amount, with balance on delivery. For large-scale or time-sensitive projects, I apply a surcharge of 10 to 25%.
For smaller projects, my minimum charge is no less than 45 €.
Payments should be made no later than 2 weeks after receiving my invoice or receipt. In case of delays, a surcharge of 20 € may be applied for every 2 weeks of delay.
I accept payment via bank transfer, PayPal, or Payoneer.
I always perform a quality check on all the projects I deliver. If the translation involves Italian into English, I also engage a native English-speaking reviewer, whose fee will be indicated in my quote as well. For English texts, I either follow the European Commission English Style Guide or the Chicago Manual of Style, unless you have a specific preference.
